Shiny-leaved Angelica has stopped many Garden Corner visitors in their tracks, asking if it's real. Angelica is known for its exotic foliage, but you'll love it even more when you see its white blooms in the summer. As a biennial, it won't produce the flowers until its second year of growth, then those flowers will self-sow, ensuring new angelica plants the following year. Angelica is fairly adaptable, growing in sun to part shade, and bees love the summer blooms. We have seen this specimen winter over in their pots, though extreme cold will take its toll on the foliage.
