Unlike other varieties of Bugleweed, 'Chocolate Chip' has smaller, narrower, chocolate brown leaves that hug the ground. Only a few inches tall, this variety spreads easily to 12 inches, making it an efficient ground cover as well as a great trailer in container planters and hanging baskets. Bees are attracted to the blue flower spikes in the spring, but deer tend to ignore it.
