'Northern Star' agapanthus bears some of the deepest blue flowers imaginable throughout the summer, standing almost three feet tall.
Product Description
Product Description
Plant labels can be a bit misleading when it comes to the size of a plant. 'Northern Star' agapanthus forms a mound of strap-like foliage that is about a foot tall and can eventually grow to two to three feet wide. However, labels will state a height of almost three feet tall, and that refers to the massive flower stalks of deep blue flowers that will tower over the foliage from mid- to late summer. The flower clusters are beacons for hummingbirds, bees, and other pollinators. Don't hesitate to cut a stalk or two for indoor enjoyment. The foliage may or may not die back completely in the winter. Simply cut back the damaged leaves in early spring before new growth appears.
