This maidenhair fern will strut its stuff with new fronds emerging pink then gradually "greening up" as they mature. Large leaflets stand out against black arching stems, creating an airy mound of foliage, usually 12 to 24 inches tall and up to 36 inches wide at maturity. A well-lit room will speed this plant's growth indoors, as will regular watering, and a bit higher humidity. It can be moved outdoors to the summer shade garden, and may even appreciate all-day dappled sun.
