Setcreasea 'Purple Heart' 4 Inch

Setcreasea 'Purple Heart' is much appreciated for its striking purple coloration and unusual branching/trailing structure. We use it primarily in our shade summer baskets but it can tolerate a fair amount of sun, and tiny pink blooms will appear in either environment. Honestly, the pink flowers appearing at the tips of stems are merely icing on the cake, adding charm to a structurally bold plant. Growing quickly to over a foot tall and wide, 'Purple Heart' works well in baskets and container planters and is a beautiful foil to bright green/chartreuse plants. Bring it indoors when the temps drop and it will winter over nicely as a houseplant.
