'Frosted Sapphire' petunia is a perfect example of picotee, that is, a flower with petals in a base color edged in a contrasting color. In this case, purple-hued, double flowers are edged in white for a stunning color display, on its own or planted in combination with other summer color. Full sun will produce the most blooms, as will regular water and fertilizing. Hummingbirds, pollinators, and humans will flock to this gorgeous petunia all summer long. Mounding six to eight inches tall, then trailing 16 to 22 inches, 'Frosted Sapphire' works well in hanging baskets, container planters, or along garden borders.
