Nandina domestica 'Tuscan Flame' 6 Inch

Nandina may have foliage that resembles bamboo and is commonly known as Heavenly bamboo, but there the similarities end. 'Tuscan Flame' is a compact, rounded shrub with new foliage emerging a vibrant red,   standing out against more mature foliage that is a pale green. Unlike other varieties of nandina, 'Tuscan Flame' stays around three to four feet in height and two to three feet in width, making it a wonderful option for container planters, borders, and even as a low, informal hedge when planted en masse. Its leaves appear more lacy than its cousins and rarely needs pruning, providing an interesting contrast in texture to other broadleaf shrubs.
