Ficus elastica 'Melany' 3 Gallon

Melany' rubber plant has a narrow upright profile similar to other varieties of rubber plants, but its dark green leaves with burgundy undertones are narrower and not quite as long as those of its cousins. However, smaller leaves does not mean smaller in stature, and 'Melany' can grow from four to ten feet tall, given optimal conditions. For best results, this ficus should be placed in a well-lit room, away from heat vents, and will benefit from higher humidity. To encourage branching, 'Melany' can be topped and the cut portions can be placed in water until roots form.
