Product Description
Product Description
Hailing from South Africa, Golden Euryops, aka Golden Shrub Daisy, likes it sunny and hot, and once established, requires infrequent watering. Here it the Pacific NW, it is usually evergreen in coastal gardens, but will require shelter where temps drop down below 20 degrees in the winter. Normally growing as a large upright shrub (as in four to six feet tall and wide), this standard form makes it ideal for container planters or in garden borders. Deadheading spent flowers will prolong the blooming period, often right up until freeze. The botanical name, Euryops, translates to "large eye," aptly describing the sunny yellow, daisy-like flowers that will grace the feathery green foliage throughout the growing season.
