Blue-green, silver-dollar-shaped juvenile leaves are popular for use in bouquets. Too cold to bloom here, it needs to come indoors in the winter.
Product Description
Product Description
The leaves you see on most Eucalyptus cinereas growing here in the Pacific NW are juvenile leaves, prized as aromatic, colorful additions to bouquets and floral arrangements. It's a bit too cold here for this eucalyptus to reach its full potential, so count on growing it in a container planter as a large shrub or train into tree form, realistically reaching six to eight feet tall and up to four feet wide. Bring this eucalyptus plant indoors in the fall to a well-lit room, or treat as an annual. Native to Australia, eucalyptuses are drought tolerant once established and have no known pests here. They are, however, quite toxic if ingested, so please keep them away from chewing pets or humans!
